Stop shorter, ride safer. The Tektro E10.11 Brake Pad Set is a genuine Tektro replacement disc brake pad set designed specifically for Tektro disc brake callipers — delivering consistent, powerful, and reliable braking performance that keeps your electric bike stopping safely and confidently on every ride.

Brake pads are the most frequently replaced component in any disc braking system. Every time you squeeze the lever, your brake pads are working hard — and over time the friction material wears down, reducing braking power, increasing stopping distances, and eventually causing metal-on-metal contact that can damage your rotors and compromise your safety. Replacing worn brake pads promptly with genuine Tektro E10.11 pads is one of the most important and cost-effective maintenance tasks any e-bike owner can perform.

On an electric bike, brake pad condition matters even more than on a standard bicycle. The additional weight of the motor and battery, combined with the higher speeds e-bike assist enables, places significantly greater demands on your braking system — making regular brake pad inspection and timely replacement an essential part of responsible e-bike ownership and safe riding.

Key Features:

• Genuine Tektro E10.11 brake pads — designed specifically for Tektro disc brake callipers
• Consistent, powerful braking performance in wet, dry, and coastal riding conditions
• Durable friction compound for long-lasting pad life under the demands of e-bike riding
• Correct fit and alignment for Tektro calliper models including those fitted to Bair Bikes e-bike models
• Minimal bed-in period — near full braking performance from the first few applications
• Reduces noise and vibration for smooth, quiet braking on every ride
• Direct replacement — no modification required for installation into compatible Tektro callipers

When Should I Replace My Brake Pads? Replace your brake pads if you notice any of the following — reduced braking power or longer stopping distances, squealing, squeaking, or grinding noises when braking, visible wear on the pad friction material down to or near the wear indicator line, lever pulling closer to the handlebar before braking engages, or vibration through the lever when braking. As a general rule, inspect your brake pads every 500–1000km of riding — more frequently if you ride in wet or coastal conditions where pad wear accelerates.

Important Safety Note: Never ride with worn or metal-on-metal brake pads. Worn pads not only dramatically reduce braking performance — they can score and damage your rotors, turning a simple pad replacement into a much more costly brake rotor replacement. When in doubt, bring your e-bike into the Bair Bikes team in Torquay for a professional brake inspection.

Best Paired With: For a complete front braking system service, pair with the Bair Bikes 180mm Disc Brake Rotor — ensuring every component of your braking system is in optimal condition for maximum safety and performance on every ride.
